Amanda Watson is a visual artist who lives in Aotearoa New Zealand, her studio is located in Whaingaroa Raglan. Her paintings embody the vitality of the gestural mark and complexities of the environments as they are made in-situ, and her work connects to a lineage of environmental and performative movements. She is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Visual Art Practice, and a Research Associate with the Waikato Institute of Technology Te Pūkenga.
